Pros
Pretty much very good opportunity for personal career growth - you will learn a lot & expect to deliver a lot & take a lot of responsibilities (due to how bad management is basically) Also your co-workers are amazing & you will make a lot of friends here
Cons
Oh jeeze where should i begin. A few things I've found consistently across several functional areas within my org: 1. management is very bad - in comparison to previous companies I've stayed at this is literally the worst management team I've ever witnessed. Most L4 + (sr manager & above) that I've met are bad in terms of managing people & taking responsibilities. They all made ownership a big deal for L1/L2s and basically throw you under bus if anything goes wrong; if things go well, they will take credit for your work. Also I've witnessed several L4/5s utilizing their unlimited PTOs extensively (basically out every Mon or Fri or taking vacations from week to week) while L1/2s are given literally no time to rest. Don't get me wrong, there are some good managers out there but the bad ones far outweighs the effort of the good ones. 2. Compensation - literally you are paid significantly under market price and I don't see a solid path for promotion; especially for L1/2s - you won't have time to take PTOs and they would require approval from your managers. 3. politics - for a company at this size we have way too many people trying to solve the same problem; then there are fights constantly going on to decide who to do what, aside from bad management trying to constantly throw you under bus, you have people fighting you across the org. Huge soli-ed environment and cross-department effort can be very hostile
