The recruiting team is very green, which can be a positive/negative thing. If you have prior recruiting experience, you’ll end up feeling frustrated by the enormous amount of admin work, the little to no actual talent evaluation you do, and the caliber of candidates you work with everyday. (It is solely volume based recruiting for the call center, so if the candidate has a pulse and can pass a computer assessment then you send them through to the hiring manager.) If you don’t have any experience, you won’t realize that you are more of a glorified recruiting coordinator vs an actual recruiter.
If you remotely enjoyed, or were successful in external/agency recruiting, the tedious admin work and boredom will be brutal. Would not recommend to someone looking to make a career in recruiting.
