Pros
The schedule, flexibility and opportunities for growth. Pay is in line with what you would make if you worked anywhere else. Office employees have a little more flexibility in their schedule. If you work in the factory, the schedule is pretty set. In reading other reviews, a lot of people mention lack of room for growth; however, it's clear these reviews were written by people who did not live up to their potential. There have been numerous people promoted, just within the last year. So, that benefit has been misrepresented. Typically the people who get promoted have put in a couple of years (at least) and are really hard working. The work environment is unlike any other manufacturing company. The building is beautiful and super clean (you could eat off the floors). That being said, the owner is super strict about cleanliness. There is free parking for employees who drive. If someone takes public transit, the location is great because it's one block from the blue line and the Halsted bus drops you off (basically) in front of the building.
Cons
The environment is a little micro-managing. Some people are allowed creative freedoms while others are not. Performance reviews get done - but, not on time. There is a lot of work to do (which is not all that bad) but it's easy to feel overwhelmed.
