Pros
Sometimes you make great money. But it’s not really worth the stress.
Cons
Layers and layers of micro management and corporate rules. They basically make it impossible to do your job effectively. Never enough support staff. If you are not in the top tier of servers, expect to have the worst shifts and make less money than your co workers. Half the staff makes more than double the of the half of the serving staff. Managers decide your serving section and unfairly give the best tables to whoever they like the most. They are always running out of food. The kitchen can’t keep up with busy nights. I could go on…
