Pros
Working on all the different styles of trucks is such a challenge. I was a mechanic with waste pro for a couple of years and the day to day never got too boring. I was able to learn and get hands on. Alot of companies just have you do one thing over and over and this isnt the case at Waste Pro. My manager would have us work closely with him on new techinques. I do think I am a more skilled mechanic now. Looking back I should of stayed. I took another job and do not like it as much not as much fun and most days I miss it. Even did road calls here and there so that was a nice variety.
Cons
Con of being a mechanic at any waste company is that there is trash in some of the trucks when you are trying to work. Lots more fun than a show room but a liitle dirty sometimes.
