Pros

We are part of a team that stops at nothing to give our brides/clients a truly marvelous day full of beautiful memories. It is a joy to be a part of that endeavor. Upper management sets meetings with you for check-ins and listens to your input. Our region has teambuilding events. The company has an annual trip of teambuilding for management.

Cons

With great companies comes great commitment. It is a time commitment to ensure our venues run smoothly. You must be fast on your feet if any problems do arise. It is seasonal so when you are hourly you need to be budget conscious.

Pros

Unlimited PTO and flexible schedule (usually). Working in the wedding industry was rewarding.

Cons

Communication and transparency were inconsistent. Expectations often changed quickly, making it difficult to prioritize and understand long-term career growth opportunities. Employment was unexpectedly terminated, I was not placed on a PIP nor was I informed of any performance concerns that would have indicated my position was at risk. No salary adjustments for 1.5 years while being told to not expect any for 2026... yet there were funds for new hires, new venues, baseball games, etc...
