Pros

Some good employees and customers

Cons

To much Favoritism Management treat employees horribly Don't promote those who are qualified but hold them back Don't accept doctors notes for illnesses They eliminated Paid vacations,Paid holidays+sick time Last year they raised people to $11/he including long time employees making long time employees making the same.pay as new hires Cut annual pay raises from 40 cents to 2% of what you make . Overwork employees so they don't have to hire more People Don't appreciate people They don't care about family They treat the hard workers horribly and praise those that do a lot less. A lot of changes to policy which Wal-Mart claims the employees asked for but they didn't talk to no one

the culture is like family. lifelong bonds made here. could and would definitely return.

Cons

depressing overall mood with salaried managers coming and going always trying to implement the next corporate restructure. shuffling workers into new roles and pay structures leading to an insecure employment situation

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
