Cons
Where to begin! Waitrose needs to learn apart from non-management partners/supervisors other partners are people too! (the way you get spoken to is down right disgusting) It also has the illusion of being a great place to work because people are scared, as it's either their way or the highway, say one word and you're out! which they quite often point out. People are leaving fast and they are very reluctant to replace them, leaving minimal help for remaining staff and customers alike. The pay is bottom of the barrel unless you're best mates with a manager where your pay gets bumped without reason. I've never known a better definition of the word favourtism in my whole life. Also due to staff shortages you will often work alone on jobs that need more than one person while higher managers walk around in groups just watching you. Sometimes they will even get you to wait 'till your break before going to the toilet or needing some water. I've not even scratched the surface, this place can and will ruin your home life at the same time. Avoid at all costs!
