The station is small, but the team works together very efficiently.

Opportunity to learn skills and technology without any prerequisite knowledge and skills. If you are looking to learn the trade this could be a good place to start. Some very friendly and talented coworkers who are happy to help and teach. I'll say it again, some very very talented employees.

Low pay. Lots of work drama but its easy to stay out of. Feuds are not dealt with and allowed to grow into an explosion which leads to an uncomfortable environment. For every friendly employee you have one bitter employee but its hard to blame them. Dated technology and improper re-purposed tools. No reward for effort, talent or creativity. Laziness is rewarded you will likely be more knowledge able and capable at your superiors job. Expect to take others responsibility's while others virtually have none. Upper managements priority's are on sales. News and production are mostly left to their own devices you will be frustrated with the directionless environment. Experimentation and creativity is not accepted employees are expected to stay the course. Money spent on gear is consistently put in the wrong place. New expensive tech is purchased that wont get any use while essential equipment is left to decay. Don't be surprised when someone comes by expecting you to thank them for the new hardware.
