Don’t work here, it’s awful now - Anonymous WTWH Media Employee Review

Pros

The only positive aspect of the company is the remote work option, allowing you to set your own hours as long as you complete your tasks. The paid time off (PTO) policy is adequate. Previously, under Scott's leadership as CEO, PTO was frontloaded, but it has since switched to an accrual system that allows it to roll over. Here’s how the accrual works: - 1-2 years of service: 2 weeks of PTO - 3-4 years of service: 3 weeks of PTO - 5 or more years of service: 4 weeks of PTO You can accrue an additional week on top of the standard PTO. The benefits package includes two personal days, three bereavement days, and five sick days, which are separate from your PTO—a feature many companies do not offer. Overall, the health benefits are decent. If you choose to work here, you would sacrifice low pay and career stagnation for the benefits mentioned above.

Cons

Be cautious when reading reviews before 2024; that’s when the former CEO, Scott, still owned the company. After he sold it, the new CEO seems solely focused on numbers. He has yet to hold a company meeting to introduce himself, leaving employees unclear about who’s in charge. They have been laying off at least 3-4 people each month, typically those who were earning decent salaries under Scott’s leadership. The workload of those laid off is then redistributed among the remaining employees without any raises. Additionally, we just lost our raises in April, which were actually meant to address inflation but were falsely presented as regular raises. Opportunities for advancement within the company are virtually nonexistent, and the workload is excessive for the low pay. While my management team is supportive, I can't say the same for everyone else’s experience. Many long-time employees are leaving. If you had asked me two years ago whether I would recommend working here, I would have said absolutely. But now, I strongly advise against it; the organization feels chaotic and disorganized.
