Starting pay is competitive, but over time you actually lose ground on the pay scale. Raises don’t keep pace with adjustments, so new hires often come in earning more than longer-tenured employees. There are no cost-of-living increases to offset this.
The culture is difficult. Many long-term employees are negative or disengaged, yet remain in place, and leadership seems unwilling or unable to address it. It creates what feels like a “toxic positivity” environment — outwardly upbeat, but in practice rewarding complacency and catering to the loudest or most irrational voices.
