Pros

Smart coworkers with very diverse and interesting backgrounds. You can always certainly learn something new from your coworkers in this office! If you're lucky (and get access to a partner), you can get staffed on an interesting project. Paid is good, compared to the market average.

Cons

The office is very political and provides little to no support to new employees in navigating the political jungle here. Favoritism and gossip are rampant. You can be a so-so employee and get promoted if you become buddy with one of the partners. You can also be a great dedicated employee and stuck doing the same thing again and again. There are a lot of people who talk but don't do and take credits for other people's work. As the office is growing to more than 130 employees, people start to form smaller exclusive groups. If you are new, it can make you feel isolated and lost. The office operates on 2 paradoxes: (1) it is extremely difficult to move to another group if you don't like your current project and studio group or (2) you will be bounced around to different tasks for different projects without continuity, consistency, and accountability. Also, no evaluation of any sort available to the employees - you'll have to seek out feedback yourself (that is, if you manage to get a hold of your super busy boss!)

Pros

Great variety of projects, Good work life balance with AFO.

Cons

No reward system for hard-working employees. Same outcome for people who do bare minimum and people who own what they do
