Pros

A good place to teach if you want to really make a difference in children's lives. There is an attitude of pitching in and expecting better from many staff members.

Cons

Children who are processing trauma has become a big thing in preschool. COVID has only made that worse. It's not a problem with the employer, but something to be aware of. The pay is also low compared to other jobs. But that is true of early education across the board. This is a tough career for a household's primary income.

Pros

Many entry level positions and good opportunity to get involved in human services and learn more about programs provided and needed.

Cons

Low pay, lack of supervisor support, and inadequate training. Company overextends resources for new programs, CEO out of touch with existing program. Concerns about agency priorities and focus on expansion over quality of existing services.
