Pros
First of all, the people. Even though you may not see your Volant co-workers every day, we stay in contact via Slack and have numerous optional social gatherings throughout the year. Everyone is friendly and supportive. You can speak with senior leadership anytime you want. It's just a very welcoming environment. Second, you own part of the company. Your success increases the value of the company and consequently the value of what you own. It's a win-win. Lastly, the salary and benefits are highly competitive.
Cons
The only con is what is universal for all consulting companies. At times you can feel isolated as if you aren't part of a work community, but that can be easily alleviated by engaging as much as possible in the Volant online community and social gatherings.
