Pros

Newbury campus has ducks and pretty little meeting pods

Cons

Vodafone purports to be the sum value of it's people and this rings out to be very true indeed. They operate a 'bell curve' come review time within which most staff will be fine, a few will excel and a few will fall short and be heading for the door. This is conducted per department and no matter how well anyone is doing, they still have to make a 'bell curve'. So in effect you see a lot of internal competition amongst staff resulting in some toxic atmospheres and very little team work. Review focus is on how you are performing against others and less so on the task in hand, as one of the measures is you against others in terms of personality, or as they label it 'behaviour'. This all results in Vodafone failing in customer service and other areas such as 'Newco' (buzz word for a new system), despite them focusing on it for years. Couple this with an undiluted focus on profit at the expense of customer service and valuing their staff, then you can see where the true values are for Vodafone. They are solely on profit delivered through poorly focused, anxious and ever competing staff.
