In the Vancouver studio, people are nice, quiet and if you ask around, people will help you. They pay OT and also dinner is included. You can get relaxing jobs. They normally bring dogs, and overall is a nice atmosphere.
Cons
Most of the work includes paintout, de-aging or fixing makeup done on set, not much compositing. It will not give you nice shots for your demo reel as compositor, more like a digi prep artist.
Effectively utilize the smaller staff size and resource to deliver maximum quality works for tv and feature films.
Very friendly co-workers.
Everybody loves dogs, and there are many awesome paw friends coming to work on regular bases.
Rarely experience crazy crunch OT time.
Competitive pay.
Cons
Work can be repetitive for some people.
The office might not be the best for some people.
Parking is always challenging.
