Pros

They provide you old, outdated camera equipment to use and sometimes, find clients for you to shoot for.

Cons

Very infrequent work, the payout is the same if you shoot 20 photos or if you shoot 40 photos, and the pay is below industry standards to start with. Evan, the CEO is a high school dropout, and he thinks he knows everything. He is pompous, Pius and a real control freak to deal with.

Visually Sold Response

Hi, Although I am aware who wrote this and this specific case, I will respect your anonymity and privacy in my public response. Firstly, I’m sorry your relationship with us ended sourly, and that you had a negative experience. My intention is to foster a work environment where the team can openly express their opinions and concerns, and I apologize for not making that clearer up front. Regarding equipment: We made the decision to provide camera equipment to our photographers to keep consistent quality, and so that our photographers do not have to worry about putting wear and tear on their own equipment. I understand that the cost of equipment is a barrier for photographers that want to break into the field, and providing equipment is something we pride ourselves on. The equipment we provide is full-frame, professional grade, and more than enough to accomplish great results for our clients. Regarding pay: By joining our team, you agreed to the pay rate per house. The pay did not change during the time you were with us. While I understand that everyone has their own level of acceptable income, this rate was agreed upon before starting the job. If there was an issue with the rate, I wish this was addressed beforehand, instead of during a photo shoot. Our rates are competitive with comparable companies, and above that, we provide the equipment. I do wish you could have refrained from personal attacks on myself and my character in the review, but I understand your frustration nonetheless. I wish you success in your future endeavors. Best, Evan

Pros

Office staff is very nice and work to make you feel supported if you fit in.

Cons

This is not a company that free thinkers can grow into, be prepared to follow their system. They also see employees as expendable. In the time that I was working there, photographers were taken off the work schedule when they were preforming poorly and were not told why. Issues regarding employees were not discussed in private. Paychecks were late and we would receive texts from the CEO saying it would be late on payday because they didn't have money to pay. Also three of the five star reviews were all submitted on the same say so that is kind of suspicious.
