Pros

This company gave me a lot of faith back in the industry when I first came on board. Pay was in line for the job, benefits were great, gas covered, even offered more salary wise to get me to say no to multiple other offers I had on the table. The new CEO and C Suite team seem to have things truly on the right track, however leadership on the local level does not align with the C-Suite level Core Values.

Cons

Lots of false promises. within about 6-9 months due to the old CEO's last "Hoorah". They cut my salary by $5,000 directly (an offer they made me so I would choose them over my other 5 offers). Took away cell phone allowance (which I figured out a year in they never paid me to begin with), Cut gas card (replaced with 15 cents a mile and forced to pay extra on car insurance due to having higher than state limits mandatory with their new setup), and upped the work load treating me as a net new/Business Development Representative, but paying me as an account executive (far less salary and commissions and meant to nurture existing and new business). I was never offered this new role or even made aware of it and never had a book as they hired specifically as a net new rep. Their new role terms that now show as a BDR to this company is what I was doing but not rewarded for. All in all they made too many moves too fast after making too many false promises. Between the pay cuts, local sales staff leaving, local culture, and lack of quality & effective local leadership in the Midwest on the sales side, the Midwest is simply sinking. Service is the only thing keeping things afloat. The worst part about all of this was they had heard about my bad experience starting in this industry in the past before choosing them, telling them no to their original offer, and they simply lied when saying I would never have those worries with them.

Remote. They gave me a the salary and the role I asked for. I would’ve been laid off if I had accepted the role I applied for…

This company has a -17 (lowest possible is -100) employee score answering “is this company is great place to work,”obviously it’s not. 70%-80% of everything about this company is a con. They will lie to you to get you to work here. Lack of tools (which we promised) and lack of true sales enabledment/support. My manager wanted to me visit customer sites unannounced as a way to get leads… The company suffers from sever incompetence. They don’t have a clue about modern outbound sales strategies and what it takes to develop net new business let alone pipeline. If you’re good at printer/copier sales then you should be fine. Not a good place for IT/Cyber Sales as they are living in 2010 with their sales plays. They think customers will care if you tell them you’re “client obsessed.”
