Pros

Local colleagues who make like more bearable

Cons

Like many other reviewers on this site I was TUPE transferred into Virgincare, keen to join the company which had won the contract and which promissed so much. Oh what a fool I was. The reality was very different and now 19 months after the transfer it is a truly misserable place to work. Morale is rock bottom, redundancies of ‘back office’ staff have been taking place and continue to do so during this year leading to people feeling vulnerable. This also impacts on already stretched front line staff. The staff survey found that less than a quarter of people would recommend it as a place to work. People are really working very hard to provide an excellent service but it isn’t valued by the company. Over this past year and in particular last six months there have been a number of people leaving without other jobs to go to - that should tell anyone considering joining all they need to know about the culture and the company. My personal advice to anyone working there is to look for another job,.
