Pros

Every day was different, you'd hear a lot of really cool stories. All the coworkers were really friendly and quick to help out.

Cons

Inconsistent working hours. You only find out if you're working the next day the afternoon before. Some days were mindnumbingly boring, especially if you didn't have an interesting case. Zero problem-solving skills were necessary.

Pros

- The people you work with are some of the kindest and best you'll ever meet. They're people who you'll find yourself being connected with long after you, or they, leave the company. - The variety of work you do keeps it interesting, especially if you report and proofread. There's something new on most days, unlike your standard office job. - Easily accessible by transit so you aren't wasting your day away sitting in traffic. - It's pretty flexible. You aren't penalized for having/wanting a life outside of the office. - You're never forced or pressured to take on any work that you feel uncomfortable with. You also won't be forced to take on late-night or weekend work unless you agree to it. -I definitely recommend this job to people looking to create connections, or who want to get their foot in the door of the legal world. The experience is invaluable.

Cons

- There's not a lot of room for upwards growth. You'll be rewarded for good work in terms of finding yourself with more hours but the pay doesn't increase at the same rate. Also no benefits. - While you may find yourself working more as you gain seniority, the hours are still inconsistent due to the structure of the job. - You feel underappreciated for the amount of work you do at times. It's frustrating and thankless. - A lot of issues would be resolved easier/quicker if management took work-related complaints from employees more seriously or communicated more thoroughly with everybody.
