Pros

Free snacks and food Lots of customers use the products Good brand name Some strong technical engineers are still there

Cons

Extreme micro management with no freedom to innovate Oldschool management think they understand technology better than the experts Senior management has a bullying approach and told us to give high glassdoor ratings The pay is a bit low

Thanks for the feedback. I agree entirely that we have strong engineering talent on this team and we work for a great brand, though some of your other comments were hard to read. Our management philosophy is one of freedom – we absolutely encourage ownership, accountability and innovation, and absolutely discourage anything that gets in their way. I’m sorry you didn’t have the great experience here we want for all of our employees, and I very much wish we’d had a chance to discuss and address your concerns. Every employee should feel comfortable raising their concerns to me, any of our engineering managers, or our HR team. Thanks again for the feedback.- Sugata

Pros

Good compensation and benefits. Flexible remote work setup. Work-life balance is possible.

Cons

The culture is highly political and lacks psychological safety. Favoritism and perception seem to matter more than performance. Collaboration suffers because people are more focused on protecting themselves and their headcount than supporting each other. Leadership is largely absent and disconnected from the actual work. Frequent layoffs have created an ongoing sense of instability. Entire teams lose key knowledge overnight, leaving others to figure things out with little to no documentation or support. Performance reviews can feel arbitrary and it's mostly gaslighting. If your priority is a steady paycheck (until it isnt), this may work for you. If you’re looking for mentorship, strong leadership, or a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, expectations should be managed.
