Pros
The product addresses an important need for companies. More and more companies are investing in identity so what Veza offers is top of mind. The product and engineering teams move fast. Good marketing even for a small company. All remote if that’s what you prefer. Competitive salary.
Cons
The product is almost too advanced for people to grasp quickly. It’s not intuitive for people who aren’t familiar with the space, even amongst security leaders. The real con here is that it takes a lot of time for new sales hires to onboard. A lot of good sellers have come and gone and struggled because it’s hard to concisely describe the product. The company needs clear direction, and that starts from the top. Too many changes in priorities makes it tough to finish a project and measure results. Crazy attrition. Like other reviews have stated, there is a real need for stronger leadership. Lofty goals that are not going to be achieved with the current leadership team. CEO needs to learn how to lead, not tell people what to do and how to do it. For whatever reason, the CEO seems to purposely create conflict within the company. If you leave, it's because "startups are hard and you couldn't handle it." I've never seen a company where non-CEO co-founders have such little say or influence. I would be surprised if Veza exists as a standalone entity a couple of years from now.
