Pros

Amazing team (nurses, receptionists, some vets) and great client and patient interactions.

Cons

Too many to count them all. The managers are the issue. They are bullies who only care about money and see staff as disposable. They promised lots of things in interviews (pay, certain amount of weekends off, rotas, training schemes) which have never been delivered. I've worked there for 18 months and I've been bullied the whole time I've been there, amongst many other staff members. The clinical care from the 2 JVPs is shocking and they also bully clients into paying for unnecessary, costly procedures for their pets. They think they are above the law in terms of employee rights when it comes to working hours, conditions and holidays and they also expect staff to think about work 24/7 as we are all part of work whatsapp groups (which ice now kuted as I can't shut off from work). I've been forced to go into work on my rare days off on regular occasions to do mundane things which could be avoided.

Pros

I have worked with vets4pets for 7 years and can still happily say I love going to work each and everyday. Each day brings a new challenge- especially during these trying times and the team work has been phenomenal... it really is a second family. You also get your birthdays off each year and have a good holiday and CPD allowance

Cons

You may be required to work long hours but this usually comes with two days off together.
