-4th Company Name change - do your homework. -Zero Product Vision - flying by the seat of their pants year after year. -CEO is a salesman, nothing more. He has the respect of nobody. -Complete autocracy - you will learn quickly CTO has no real decision making power (and you wish he did because he actually has a heart). -Self funded - lots of emotion when they look at the books - be prepared to feel like your job is on the line quarter after quarter. -CEO sets expectations in his head, then lashes out when they aren't met even though they were never communicated. -CEO yells at people in front of other employees - super awkward and embarrassing. -People last only a few months, sometimes days. Reasons for this is the toxic environment created by the CEO. He has no regard for peoples families or lives that he's impacting. You'll get the sense quickly he's only in it for himself. - No perks at all. Not your 'cool Austin tech job' in any way. 8-10 hours in your seat job with health insurance. - Lies, lies and more lies - its amazing the stuff you'll hear and be promised. It will never come to fruition, like the equity in the company everyone has been promised. - Nobody leaves on good terms - its always contentious or an unexplained firing. The CEO and CTO will even have others fire people because they are too cowardly to do it themselves. - Culture Doc are words on a paper - they don't live by it at all. - The list goes on and on and on ......this is a just a taste of life at this company.
