Even though 99% of their employees are remote, Verified First does an amazing job making us feel like are working in the office. Every Monday, the company does a "Monday Morning Moto" to motivate us for the week and it's so nice to put faces to names. Supervisors are extremely support and understanding. VF has team chats to use for support with questions. VF has an awesome open door policy and is very accepting of feedback and suggestions.
Cons
While VF does pay 100% of the employee's health insurance premium, the deductible is high. Starting pay is lower than I expected, however the "inclusive" environment is way more valuable.

Thanks for your positive review, and we're excited to hear that you've found your "forever employer!" We are always looking for new ways for our employees to connect while still being remote and living in different states.
Even though VF pays 100% of the insurance premium, we agree that the deductible is higher than we would like it to be. As a creative solution in 2022, VF implemented a "deductible buy-down" that reduces the deductible by $1,500, and is no cost to the employee.
We'll continue to be open to new ideas, so keep the suggestions coming!

Pros
There are some amazing people at the organization.
Cons
The level or micromanagement is unlike I have ever seen in my career. Only certain employees are allowed laptops so they are forced to work at their desks and good luck working at a conference. You literally have to email all of management and the team your “end of day” including a task list of what you did for the day…because you know they can’t pull a sales report. But they do, that is sent every morning! Additionally they have click tracking software installed on all the sales teams computers. Your phone calls are recorded and sales meetings video recorded. You have ZERO autonomy at this company.
Leadership has no trust in their employees. Ironic for a company who attempted to utilize prison labor to cut costs. VF sister company Safety Security ended up in litigation for this exact reason.
If you could background screen the company on ethics they would fail. They discriminate against female employees, harassment has been a documented issue that is swept under the rug.
Additionally their pay (base/commission) is far below other companies in the market. Six different employees expressed that they were lied to about the commission structure and pay by sales leadership and nothing was ever addressed.
