Pros

Some lovely people, nice office, some good socials

Cons

The CEO will ask female staff members to do secretarial tasks that have no correlation to their jobs such as making him dinner reservations. Male employees never get asked to do this. Female employees are often scrutinised far more. People with disabilities can get left behind (e.g if you couldn't physically do a day of hiking for team building, you had to work an extra half day) A lot of very overworked people - it's not uncommon to work weekends Many are afraid to challenge leadership Goalposts for bonuses move depending on what the exec team wants to spend money on. You can exceed your goals and still only get 6% of your bonus if they decide they'd rather spend that money on 'growth' elsewhere.

Pros

Verdantix has always treated me fairly and made me feel valuable. The firm makes you feel like you're part of the family, it's a relatively small workforce so you get to know your coworkers really well. Opportunity to learn and refine skills as a worker in the research industry. The work/life balance is great -- I've only had to work very late a few times and it was because there was a big project to close out. Verdantix is really a must join firm if you love talking about and researching technology

Cons

I've been at Verdantix for 2 years and I cant think of any major cons; It is a UK-based firm that has a few US-based employees which can be concerning but the UK-based managers try their best to make themselves available and the US-based team can almost always help address any questions.
