      awesome team members, got to work with talented software engineers

      Cons

      There is no job security here. We were told often that work is lined up only to have multiple teams laid off a few months later. PTO and sick time was taken away and mandatory overtime was enforced before layoffs. One employee was let go immediately for not being able to work the weekend on zero notice. This company is marketed as one that employs military vets as software engineers, but multiple vets were laid off in the span of a few months.

      I completely understand that this anonymous person is upset because they were let go from the company. It is never an easy decision for us to terminate an employee, and we do not take it lightly. The assertions in this person's post are not true and are simply aimed to hurt our reputation. We absolutely value our employees, and most of the people in our company are high performers who have been here for several years.

      Great people with knowledgable software experts, security experts and a CEOwho has a very strong understanding of Veterans health and healthcare systems. Strongly Agile driven environment.

      Cons

      None worthy of mentioning. The CEO and President are both thoughtful.

      Pros

      Flexible hours, easy going management, no VPN.

      Cons

      No benefits. Only hires 1099 contract workers and with not enough pay for the work or to meet the cost of living. Job difficulty and hours demands full-time work, but you will need a second job to stay afloat with how little they pay. Turn over rate is high because of this.
