Pros
Freedom to manage your own calendar, very good products that "sell themselves", nice colleagues (but always too few with many open headcounts, this can affect your sales numbers as they are always set for a full team), extremely good R&D (that are open for communication both by end users, resellers and SE's) and strongest internal marketing department in the industry. Beginning to hire very good middle managers now after years of high turnover because of hiring the wrong people.
Cons
Not a good work/private life balance, very high turnover globally and struggling to retain the best both in marketing, SE/SA's etc. This makes dips in sales revenue as new people are boarding constantly, often never becoming as good as those who quit. Not offering additional education, career development plans, scheduled reviews etc. Not competitive salary compared to the big ones (HPE, Cisco, NetApp, Dell EMC), it's about 35-50% lower. Because of this it's difficult to get good senior team mates and a full sales team with a machine firing on all cylinders, this becomes tiring over time and affects motivation. Note: This is not a problem in all regions, most have full teams.
