Pros

- The product operates in a genuinely interesting space within the cybersecurity market and holds a competitive position relative to peers. - The tech stack is modern and the problems being solved are technically engaging. - Flexible hybrid work arrangements exist in practice, even if leadership publicly encourages more in-office time. - In its earlier days, the company had a strong team of talented engineers and a collaborative, energising culture.

Cons

- The culture has shifted noticeably from a startup mentality toward a more corporate, metrics-driven environment, and not always in ways that benefit the team. - There is a visible favourites culture, particularly in engineering, where those who deliver at any cost tend to be rewarded, while employees who raise concerns about quality, tech debt, or team dynamics are often overlooked or pushed out. - Leadership decisions can feel reactive and company-wide directives sometimes arrive abruptly without proper context. - Over time, many of the strongest and most respected engineers have left, either voluntarily due to cultural concerns or because they were effectively nudged out. If you value a workplace that balances results with people investment, that balance has become harder to find here.

Pros

Decent benefits, decent people, flexible hybrid work. Helping orgs not fall prey to a cyberattack is generally ethical work.

Cons

Schedules can be aggressive at times, making it difficult to improve technical debt and for teams to have enough slack to aide each other.
