Pros

Pay is reasonable. Colleagues are friendly.

Cons

To sum up the leadership. The CIO saw a bad review of her on here and held a meeting with the dept and threw a hissy fit. Telling people she hadn’t got rid of good hard working experienced and loyal people to bring in her mates. Well unfortunately for her everyone knows the truth and although her friends may be very qualified, doesn’t make the claim wrong. Also telling people about what someone who left has said is a bit pointless, try fixing the perception rather than claiming its wrong! Zero people management. Work is delivered via slack messages, with an immediate response expected. There is a jira boards that are ignores by management. Planning, plain and simple doesn’t exist. Massive upgrades and changes to the business are thrown in with 2/3 weeks notice. No training or testing time given. Madness on every level Communication so bad they remove people from the business and don't tell their colleagues. To the extend we only find out people have left months later if not in your team! Management don’t attend their own meetings, have no respect for the people under pressure. Just pile more on. Personal development is a dirty word (or two). People are leaving because they feel they have regressed since joining. Something I agree with. HR don’t care about people outside their own dept. They talk, provide enough leaflets to give Green peace a hernia, but there are never actions to help people, they just like to remove people who speak up, and at a time when HR are actively changing contracts to save money, they show zero remorse for effecting people’s mental health COVID made us home worker and we couldn’t even borrow a chair, so a year later my back is in pieces. But eventually, I was offered a keyboard to help.. great thanks. No training Complete reluctance to provide product training. If you don’t include manual handling and fire extinguisher online training, obviously useful to home IT staff. Then management wonder why there is a skill shortage, and still don’t act upon it despite being badgered on a constant basis.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We are very sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t been positive whilst you’ve been working at Vaultex. The IT function are going through a process of change at the moment and want to get this right for our employees. We pride ourselves on our Senior Management team and are confident that they are taking the business in the right direction to improve our business. We have an active recruitment campaign to recruit new talent to help with these exciting projects that we have planned over the next few years. We are sorry that you didn’t feel supported during work and didn’t feel that you were given the opportunity to develop your skills. This is something that you would have an opportunity to discuss during your reviews with your line manager. We have lots of resources to help with the learning and development of our employees. Equally our HR team work hard to support all of our colleagues and ensure we have the right people in the right teams. Which is why you have a dedicated HR Business partner that is available to you to discuss any concerns you have. In addition we have worked hard during the last 12 months of COVID to ensure our employees are still communicated to whilst homeworking and still run all of usual campaigns, including a Virtual Hero Award Ceremony, to recognise our peoples efforts. In addition we have managed to run our business without furloughing any of our employees and in some cases reducing working hours without our employees losing any pay. Unfortunately we won’t be able to address every point on here, but we hope the points highlighted above can satisfy the majority of your concerns. Of course we find it disheartening that you view Vaultex in such a negative way, however appreciate your thoughts and comments and wish you all the best for your future endeavours.
