The environment is quite cut-throat; you feel like there is always someone who wants what you have and there is low collegiality. When management needs to downsize, they do so in the worst way possible. Out of nowhere, you will get statements about you not delivering or similar, and there will be no support from any trade union, as you are blacklisted from ever working with them if you ever join one. This is quite endemic to the whole fashion industry, though. HR does not have your back. They are only mercenaries sent out to get you out - they get their orders and try to execute.
