Pros

Made friends, got my start in my desired field, 50% off valley fiber bill, decent health benefits

Cons

awful wages and appreciation for backend staff, concerns reported to management are rarely actioned if ever addressed, very difficult to get a fair wage to workload ratio, unhelpful human resources most times. Executives often are combative and stubborn to change when discussing the treatment of entry level staff, very hard to work with or get any changes done. In some departments, employees are often not only encouraged/asked to work overtime but EXPECTED leading to having no work/life balance. Don't even ask about the nepotism or double standards....

Pros

The "Plug-and-Play" Fallacy: Managers often assume a new hire's previous experience means they don't need to learn this specific company’s systems, culture, or nuances. The Resource Crunch: They might be so understaffed that they feel they don’t have the "luxury" of training you, ignoring the fact that fixing mistakes takes twice as long as teaching it right the first time. Poor Management Maturity: Sometimes, leadership simply hasn't defined what "success" looks like, so they default to "do everything, perfectly, right now."

Cons

It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like you're being set up for failure. When an organization (or a manager) skips the "onboarding" phase and jumps straight to "high-stakes performance," they aren't just being ambitious—they're being unrealistic.

Cons

- Opportunities to improve client communication and service consistency - Lack of focus on customer experience - Limited strategic emphasis on long-term customer satisfaction (short-term thinking) - The work environment, professionalism and expectation seemed inconsistent between departments - Lack of accountability among middle-management. - Massive opportunities to improve operational efficiency - Not ideal for individuals who prefer highly structured training and step-by-step guidance
