Pros
The idea of a 4 day week is very progressive and they did advise it can be quieter in summer when schools are closed. It's potentially a great job for someone as long as your happy going to head office semi regularly. If you're 3 or 4 hours away not ideal.
Cons
I had an interview with Vsware on the 15th March as a customer service agent with N Byrne and D Hughes. I have over 10 years contact centre experience and my postgrad in secondary education. The interview ran for up to 40 minutes. The HR rep was lovely but I must say the customer service manager spent the duration out of shot of the webcamera and spent alot of the time mumbling incoherently in the background, asking me questions like would I play 5 aside football and telling me my answer wouldn’t impact on my success at interview. From reading the reviews on google and elsewhere about the customer service and how customers found it rude and were spoken over etc I do wonder what they are actually looking for at interview. Luckily for me the job would not have suited me as it was actually Hybrid not remote which was not mentioned in the advert so it would have meant at least twice a month travelling and parking in Dublin. My only reason for writing this review is that I was told at the end of the 40 minute interview that I would be contacted in the following days as to whether I was successful or not and they just never contacted me at all. I found this rude and gives such a bad impression considering I invested 40 minutes of my time. I have a funny feeling the customer service manager is looking for someone with a certain set of assets that I wont have at least in the very near future.
