Pros
Great organisation with a good vision. They give you a job role then back off to let you do the job. I didn't get beyond the probationary period as the VGC Group had caused the confusion in my job role. Never gave me chance to rectify or show improvement. Still great organisation to work for. Lots of respect for people I met in the company.
Cons
Gave me a job role & left me to get on with it. Unfortunately I had misinterpreted my job role, as did my fellow colleague, Contract Supervisor. For a period of 10-weeks I was sharing the duties of the Contract Supervisor, attending meetings, handling clients and contractors. When I reached the 12-week period, end of probation I finally met my Senior Manager & was able to ask any questions I was simply told to finish up. Probation was over. He admitted that VGC Group were responsible for some of the confusion, but he did not feel things were working out. I couldn't believe he was not considering an extension to my probation and simply writing me off.
