The cons outweigh the pros by far.
VCA is owned by MARS, inc. (yes, like the candy company); it makes about as much sense as it sounds.
New PMs do not care about you as a person.
VCA pays lip service to your mental health while they heap on the very stressors.
If you have struggled, disability and improved performance don't count in your favor .
Expect your workplace to run on a skeleton crew on a daily basis (before sick calls).
No additional compensation or understanding for doing the work of two in 1 shift.
You can work yourself to death one day and be fired the next.
A PM can fire you and not tell you until days after the fact.
The PM did not give me my final paycheck until 3 business days later (labor violation)
They can speak ill of you to the EDD and cost you unemployment benefits.
