They have underspent on every part of the process. They even outsourced their president and board members to a consulting firm. Their ERP system was cheap upfront, but every new module implementation is quite expensive and hard to implement due to overly nested internal processes and lack of technical staff. This issue bleeds into manufacturing, procurement, quality control, customer service, and accounting. Rather than making an investment to change this, they'd rather keep hiring young and inexperienced folks at low pay to come in and try to make it work, then changing direction and firing them. This has gone on for 5 years now.
Additionally, the work environment is toxic. They don't value the employees they have and seem to thrive on gossip. There is no training. You are on your own.
The recent 5 star reviews were done by their (new hire) HR Director, Director of Sales (been there 12+ years), and manufacturing manager (married to HR manager). Imagine working in the plant and having an issue with your manager. Are you supposed to tell his wife? And they wonder why turnover is high.
