Pros
It's a terrible small business, so there's a ton to improve upon.
Cons
The CEO is 99% of all the problems. He is a micromanager because he's too cheap to hire actual managers between him and the entry level employees. Even if you have a degree in your field, it won't matter because the CEO always has the last word. Communication is terrible, especially when communicating with the CEO. He won't ever talk to you unless he has a problem with you. They're racist and don't honor Juneteenth as a federal holiday. There's heavy nepotism as more than half of the staff is the CEO's family. There is no structure. Any plans made are short notice. During the interview process, he says that you'll get a significant pay raise after 90 days, but that is false. He'll just keep underpaying you. If he doesn't like you, he'll change your job title and duties so it gives you a reason to quit. And if you still perform those duties, he'll fire you because he just doesn't like you. The CEO and his family will take time off and call it a "work trip", when in reality they just golf and goof off. He's told me before "you have to work harder so I can continue living my lifestyle".
