For a place owned by the largest unions it does not care about people and does not feel a responsibility to support, nurture or grow staff. They employ staff lulling you with this facade of ethical banking and a bank that cares about it's staff but the reality is in less than 6 months I have witnessed 11 people leave or be sacked from the infamous customer first team and other teams. Refusing to admit they are the problem and their lack of training and support. It's scary to think that a bank with it's largest shareholders being trade unions feels no obligations to look after it's staff.
I would caution you to think about joining unity for banking or has member of staff. It feels like it's a place that belongs on dispatchers and should be reviewed by external regulators for it's conduct.
Truly traumatised. My confidence knocked and my cv with a stain. Luckily recruiters recognise the sorry state unity is in.
