Pros
Sharing a team with some really brilliant, client focused, trauma infformed employees and team leaders. Flexibility with working hours and hybrid working model. Overall it is a very supportive environment but there are times when the workload can be so busy that there is little time to actually recognize that you need support or for the team to have the capacity to provide that support. Though the team are always supportive of each others work and ensure everyone finishes on time. No overtime is expected. There seems to be some capacity to move around within the org. It does many things.
Cons
Service is not sustainable for the long term. Feels like there's been little thought into responding directly to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The emphasis seems to be on expansion as an enterprise. Does not appear to be many within upper management that understand homelessness closely. While there can be career development it seems as though that creative people who may challenge ideas or provide alternative ways of doing things aren't what they are looking for?
