Pros

The people who work at Unily is definitely a positive - there are some really talented employees within the teams. Worklife balance especially over the pandemic was good.

Cons

Unstable product and lack of testing causes a huge amount of issues when features are launched. New features get bigged up so much then are either really late on delivery or are delivered with a high number of bugs that customers then become frustrated and lose trust in the product. Customer facing teams have little to no voice in major decisions that impact the customers. Key processes change or features released without really having the Unily customer at the front of their mind nor any clear documentation or guidance as to what/why we have made the change which means that customer facing staff are left having to find information (most of the time technical info) from random sources and 9/10 each employee will provide different guidance. No unity between teams means that no-one is working together or towards the same goal. It can leave very fractious relationships between departments. Relationships within the Business - Having family/friend connections should be a strength to a business however unfortunately it left people feeling like they couldn't speak to managers about any frustrations they were having because they knew they were related and they could be treated differently.

Pros

Unily has a strong product, a smart customer base, and a genuinely talented team across sales, solutions, product, marketing, and customer success. The business is ambitious, fast-moving, and gives people real ownership. As an Account Executive, I’ve appreciated the quality of the people, the market opportunity, and the chance to work on meaningful enterprise deals with well-known global brands.

Cons

Like many growing technology companies, priorities can move quickly and the pace can be demanding. There are times when internal processes, handoffs, and communication could be tighter, especially as the company scales. That said, the intent is usually good, and people are generally willing to help when you ask.
