Everything about this place is negative.
1. It is ran by a misogynistic group of frat brothers from the pinnacle of higher education, WSU. Being an alumni is enough of a vetting process to be hired. I have also been told by the CEO that I should wear glasses and my hair up to "look smarter". It shouldn't be a surprise that he has had his own #timesup moment at his last real engagement.
2. My manager once told me that they couldn't believe how someone like our CEO got to this position. He was disgusted by him and only hired from us because we usually had good PMs and were substantially cheaper than the competition. We also were more likely to convert to being a FTE even though taking substantial pay decreases. Never take the CEO to meet your manager, if they don't hate him already, they will by the end of the meeting.
3. THIS IS A STAFFING AGENCY. A seat opens up, they need a warm body to fill it. That's it. When it comes time to roll-off, be prepared to be fired. No one is a "friend of the firm" after working here. If you roll off early, the brain trust will determine if you're economically viable or will at least hold their feet for a keg stand.
4. You will be expected to be a salesman when in your position. I was repeatedly spoken to for spending too much of my day on "Matisia Business" when being pressured by the account management team and sales person to "get strategic." What a joke.
5. The best talent is gone or leaving. Not only are a majority of the staff NOT from the "Big 4", most have zero real consulting experience. And you will be asked to push a resume to your manager for someone who has hit the bench who in no way is qualified to fill the position. That's always fun.
6. Take all reviews with a grain of salt but the positive ones are fabricated by the internal team. It should be very obvious which are real and which aren't.
