Pros
Free Costco pizza (YUM!) + Culture + Dogs
Cons
I agree that every positive review here is a lie. The only “positive” facts about this company are the culture and dogs. Don’t be fooled by the fun social content of the employees having a time of their lives. No they do NOT cater lunch EVERY week. Toxic environment. No good benefits. No growth opportunities. No work/life balance. Expect to work overtime and on weekends. Manipulative and cheap. No good leadership skills. Senior management lacks knowledge in the area of social media and strategy. Lack of guidance and resources throughout the company. Salary is not negotiable. Severely underpaid. Awful starting salaries at $35K or less. Raises/Promos are rare (not even close to average and above salaries). Location is unsafe. No parking at the office (it’s only for the sports cars). Residential/Street parking if you are lucky. Multiple people have been followed to their cars by strangers. It’s not safe. Required to inform the company through Slack on every little detail on every action taken throughout the day (Signing in at 9:30am, during lunch, and at 6:30pm). Mandatory to work every minute and every second of the day. Cannot leave on time even if you are ahead of your tasks for the day. If you work overtime, it’s unpaid. They offer to pay for dinner after 8pm at the maximum of $10 or less (tip + tax included). Favoritism. Overworked employees and don’t compensate fairly for their time. Flexibility with working from home and vacation time does not exist. If you are curious of how vacation/sick days work, it will be miscalculated. TERMITES! ANTS! COCKROACHES! Didn’t want to pay for termite control. Employees kept complaining about it, but the owners didn’t care until they had a termite land into their personal space. Racially insensitive and sexist. Does not believe in equal rights between men and women and young vs old. In regards of COVID-19, they did try to resist closing down the office even though an employee was potentially exposed to the virus. As you can already tell, they could care less about anyone but themselves. Working from home is still “optional”. Employees wages were cut by 35% since this pandemic started despite the fact that they have gotten new business and cut business expenses through lay-offs. There is absolutely no HR, so it really does explain a lot as to why there are negative reviews about this company. WARNING: Apply at your own risk. Highly recommend NOT applying here. Don’t work here. Don’t waste your passion, talent, and energy here. They can’t keep up with the now, the new, the future. This industry is growing and they are still behind.
