Pros
-wonderful, thoughtful coworkers who share the same values in education as you -school building itself is very nice compared to other schools I've worked at
Cons
-admin breathes down your neck and you receive accountability emails or a stern talking to for even being one minute late to work or meetings as well as any missed deadlines -there are a LOT of admin tasks you have to do that don't give you the energy to actually focus on teaching -their accountability measures to ensure you meet tasks and deadlines seem dehumanizing as an adult -you are asked to cover other absent teachers and staff often. it gets worse over the school year as people quit or are fired.
