AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - Telesales Executive UTP Merchant Services Employee Review

I was once pulled into a meeting to have a “talk” about me slacking off during a shift. I asked for an example of what they meant and I was told that I took a 3 minute toilet break which is (in their words) “way too long to be away from my desk” That’s the most pleasant memory I have from that place honestly, there are way more. My manager at the time told me that my nan dying was an “inconvenience” I was given a written “telling off” for leaving a 32 second gap in between phone calls once. we were expected to write notes on each call but they had to be legible and couldn’t be slang or acronyms etc. how am I supposed to write full sentences describing the entire phonecall AND the outcome AND the time, date, who I spoke to etc… how am I supposed to do that in less than 32 seconds?
