Pros
*People are mostly friendly. *Work was not all that difficult. *11 paid holidays
Cons
*Wages (negotiated by the union and well below market)*Benefits (once again, negotiated by the union and pre-assigns a high deductible health plan to even people with chronic health conditions - mine was equal to 5% of my base salary before the insurance paid a dime - to add each tier had its own deductible - you only find this out in NEO)* $300/ year for the privilege of parking plus fines if they don't like the way you park (once again - this info is not given until after you start) * Six month probationary period * Union reps who cannot disclose dues amounts even in NEO and do not return calls * Several calls had to be made to HR benefits even after NEO before I realized how much their "blue health plan" would cost me. (Pathetic for an organization that preaches about health equity in the community)
