      Poor Leadership, Toxic Environment, Questionable Ethics - Engineer USfalcon Employee Review

      Pros

      Most colleagues (not at management level) were professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to work with - though the bad eggs were really bad. Work/life balance was fine - they didn't expect us to put in extra hours or come in on weekends. Pay was decent as a new graduate new hire.

      Cons

      I've never seen a group of less competent, more toxic managers and leaders, from the line managers all the way up to the CEO. Line managers directed employees to charge time to projects they weren't working on, because the ones they were working on were out of money. They ignored/swept under the rug HR complaints and in fact threatened retaliation to the person/people making the complaint. They refused to let go of absolute dead weight employees, despite management knowing EXACTLY how toxic and unproductive they were. It's always nice to find a new job when you're ready to leave a place of employment, but in this case, it was an absolute relief and pleasure to give my 2 weeks' notice.

      Pros

      - Communication was timely; email correspondence was excellent, phone calls were also top notch - Personalities of the recruiting/hiring team were welcoming and very enjoyable - Web sites and Web apps were amazingly easy and very intuitive to use

      Cons

      No cons experienced but the speed in which the recruiting/hiring team were able to complete the entire process was less than 48 hours. Head was spinning from how detailed focus the entire process was handled.

      Pros

      - Great atmosphere - Directly working for your client - Good 401k match - Tons of networking opportunities - DAU access

      Cons

      No long term parking for contractors at the Pentagon, but the company does offer a pre-tax dollar transportation fund if you choose to take the bus or metro. Additionally, I wish there was more PTO available initially.
