Pros

1.Flexibility in timings; no one questions you of the number of hours available at work as long as work doesn't suffer; 2.Flat hierarchy with personal level visibility till CXO level - which is unusual for organisations of this size. 3. UST Global has a peculiar work culture which is maintained by colors of UST - we move from festival to festival and fun event to fun event; no week passes without one such event; Hence going to work is so much interesting. 4.Compassionate management who takes care of the associates in multitude of ways UST lives its motto Humility, Humanity and Integrity !!

Cons

1.Poor salary standards - You will find manager earning less than reportees which may or may not be corrected 2. Same career path of non tech, tech and Management graduates; we have lot of BA /Bcom graduates getting market correction and earning equal pay packets and timely designation advancements as their technical/management counterparts which is demotivating for the latter 3.Promotions used to be timebased , on rapport with the deciding manager and not on expertise/skill based;hence so many associates who lacked the diversity of experience and capability has reached higher roles; there is a recent move to correct it but rate of success depends on the sincerity of the deciding managers.

Pros

The company is already shifting from services to products and platforms business, with the CEO driving the change directly. This transition is visible and is steep. The upside to this transformation is the company already creating meaningful opportunities for people to grow new skills and take on more strategic and value-added work. The key is to lean in and make full use of the resources available, including client universities, hack-a-thons, ideathons, and skill transformation programs, to stay ahead. For internal talent, the opportunities in product, platform development, and consulting are abundant, across both existing offerings and new solutions.

Cons

the organization is going through a painful transition unlike anything it has experienced in its 26-year history; while this change is necessary to win in the market, stronger support through the transition is an area where the company can improve and focus.
