Pros

Some of the amazing staff on the teams

Cons

They will work hard to get some of the best talent but then it goes all wrong. Whilst they believe they focus on culture the reality is their work culture policy just exists on paper. I witnessed almost daily humiliation of good staff. The team would rally around each other to support whoevers turn it was that particular day. Senior management have formed an impermeable clique and it was impossible to reason or make an argument for a different view. You're seen as the problem if you try. UK employment legislation and worker rights were seen as a challenge or openly ignored. I've seen able employees suddenly put on improvement plans, contrary to process, without warning. Here's the trick, suddenly an individual will be moved off the account for a perceived reason and benched. No available roles so then they're gone. This appears to be the normal route to dismiss employees without the fuss of formal process. Working there was exhausting. A shame because they obtained, and would regularly lose, amazing staff.

Pros

I have been associated with UST for almost 12 years, starting my journey as a Tester and currently serving as a Senior Project Manager. Looking back, the growth opportunities provided by the organization have been remarkable. One of the biggest strengths of UST is its people-first culture. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in employee success. Throughout my career, I have received continuous encouragement to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and move into leadership roles. The company places significant emphasis on employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. I have had opportunities to work across different domains, engage with global clients, and grow both technically and managerially. What makes UST special is the trust it places in its employees and the collaborative culture that exists across teams. It’s a place where dedication and performance are recognized, and individuals are given opportunities to shape their own career paths

Cons

As with any large organization, some processes could be streamlined for faster decision-making.
