Pros
You'll meet some great co-workers, and share in the camaraderie that you're all in the fight together.
Cons
Leaders are disconnected from their employees needs. Micromanaging, manipulating and overworking employees is the name of the game. Big Bonuses to the leadership team and a pittance to everyone else. No cost of living increase. They continue to move the goal line, so you can never get ahead. No opportunities for advancement. Lots of turnover. Pay is grossly under market value. No support at all from management or HR if you have a concern or issue. They pretend to care but in the end they do nothing about it. You can get laid off at a moments notice if the PE firm raises their margins. Like most companies that are owned by PE firms, your worth is only determined by what you can do to put more money into the pockets of the shareholders. If you can't, you're out.
