Pros
I crossed paths with some incredibly awesome, smart hardworking people here. The job was challenging, so once I began to gain an understanding of what I was doing, it boosted my confidence.
Cons
Lack of transparency. My group was told that we were hired for one position but once we got in, we were split into two different groups unrelated to the position that we initially accepted. The training was incredibly horrible, and the management was oblivious to-or could care less about- the well-being of their employees. Most of them were downright bullies & not fit to hold their title. They would hire temp employees by the truck load and put them on the floor to work without the tools needed to truly succeed. Leaders within the department were very rigid and closed to new ideas that could help improve processes. They did not desire forward thinkers, they preferred "yes men." Division and tension within the local pricing and national contract pricing departments was apparent, with an "us" vs "them" mentality, & employees were always at each others throats. The environment was toxic, and with the amount of employees that came and went, I'm surprised the front door didn't fall off its hinges.
